With WedCut they don’t go anywhere: the app analyses the wedding on your computer, on Mac or Windows, and only individual frames of each clip go to the AI to describe the shot. They aren’t used to train models, and the audio of vows and speeches is transcribed on your computer.

A wedding belongs to the couple: their families, their vows, their tears. Many AI video tools work in the cloud and ask you to upload the footage, or a lighter copy, to their servers. For a videographer, that’s one more permission to ask for and one more risk to explain.
WedCut is built the other way round: the heavy lifting happens on your computer and the result is a project you open in Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve or Premiere, also on your computer.
