WedCut is a desktop app (Mac and PC) for wedding editors and videographers: AI picks the best footage, spots the key moments (the kiss, the vows, the first dance) and builds a first cut in the style you choose, delivered editable in Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve or Premiere (FCPXML + EDL). Your footage never leaves your computer.

Unlike apps that hand you a finished rendered video, WedCut leaves you an editable first cut in your own editing software, learns your style from your previous edits and understands the emotional moments of a wedding. You keep creative control.

The AI looks at each clip (scene, moment, emotion, quality and recording time) and floats the good ones to the top. You stop scrubbing thousands of clips; you review an already curated selection.

Before editing you choose how to cut: the house style (the cut of a professional wedding editor), your own style (by adjusting WedCut to how you edit), or random to explore variants.

Editable. It exports FCPXML and EDL: the first cut assembled in your Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere timeline. And if you want, the same file carries ALL your takes in folders by scene, already tagged, so you can swap or add shots without leaving your editor.

No. WedCut is local (Mac & PC): your clients' footage never leaves your machine. Only the analysis travels, metered.

An editing Mac or PC is enough. Being local, you use your own hardware and don't wait in server queues.

One camera file, however long it runs. If your wedding is 740 files, that's 740 clips — it makes no difference that one lasts eight seconds and another twenty minutes. It's the honest unit: what a wedding costs us to analyse depends on how many clips there are to look at, not on how many hours they run.

You don't need to. Drop the folder into the app and it counts them and tells you the size and the price before it starts. No surprises, no metered charges: the price is fixed before it touches a file.

So every wedding costs you half. The membership pays for the app — every format, the export to all three editors, your own style and the updates — and from two weddings a year it already pays for itself. If you edit weddings for a living, it covers its own cost.

No. The balance is yours forever and never changes value. The M wedding you bought is still an M even if you drop the membership. The only thing you lose is the discount on weddings you buy from then on.

You pay to analyse the footage, once per wedding. Everything else is free: generating the edits, regenerating them as often as you like, the music and its BPM, the trims, the preview and exporting the XML/EDL. Re-analysing the same files isn't charged either.

No. You add a top-up, 100 clips at a time, to the same project. And the ladder is built so that adding up costs exactly the same as buying outright: two S are exactly one M. It never pays to throw away what you already bought.
