Is the first wedding edit a finished video?+

No, and on purpose: it is the base of your edit, an editable project already placed on your Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Premiere timeline so you can carry it on and finish it in your style. If you need something right away, you can also export a direct MP4.

Do I pay again to generate the teaser, the highlight or the film?+

No. Your balance is spent when analysing the wedding, once. Generating a teaser, highlight or film, refining, previewing and exporting cost nothing more, and you can regenerate as many times as you like.

How long does the first edit take to generate?+

The analysis of a wedding of about 500 clips runs on its own in one or two hours of machine time. After that, each edit is generated in a few minutes.

How long can the wedding film be?+

10 to 25 minutes, and you set the length. It depends on the footage: each moment in the edit lasts about 5 seconds, so with 250 analysed clips the ceiling is about 20 minutes, and with more footage it reaches 25. The slider never lets you ask for more than your footage gives, and the getting-ready part doesn't grow: the extra time goes to the cocktail, dinner, first dance and party.

Does it generate subtitles for the vows and speeches?+

Yes, in the full film. On export, WedCut writes the subtitles as .srt next to the project: each phrase in its language and in its exact place on the timeline, plus a version translated into Spanish if someone speaks another language. Phrases that aren't understood clearly are left without a subtitle rather than with invented text.

How does it sync weddings shot with several cameras?+

You sync your camera clocks once per wedding: the app suggests the clip pairs and lines the cameras up frame-accurately. With that, all the footage is ordered by real recording time and the full film can be exported with the angles in multicam.
